Meet Your MP
I have started on this newsletter several times over recent weeks, but the situation in Parliament has changed so frequently I wanted to write to you once things have settled a little!
We now have a new PM. The Rt Hon Theresa May has been the Home Secretary for over six years. As she said in her announcement yesterday, this will fulfil 'the need for strong, proven leadership to steer us through what will be difficult and uncertain economic and political times, the need, of course, to negotiate the best deal for Britain in leaving the EU, and to forge a new role for ourselves in the world'.
Victoria is holding Meet Your MP Events at the following times in the upcoming weeks:
Thursday 28th July 2016, Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre, 244 Acklam Rd, W10 5YG

Firstly thank you very much indeed for electing me as your MP for Kensington. It has been a busy year and a whirlwind transition from being a local councillor and the Deputy Mayor of London, to being your MP for Kensington.
